Their expertise in technical design and drawing along with an in depth understanding of modern design principles is crucial in creating compelling and functional spaces that align with our clients' vision and requirements.
Conduct site visits and assessments to gather accurate measurements, analyse existing layouts, and assess project feasibility.
Follow specifications and calculations to create various technical drawings.
Create detailed 2D and 3D visualizations, floor plans, and elevations using computer-aided design (CAD) software and other relevant tools.
Preparing, reviewing and redrafting design documentation alongside the project management team.
Liaise with the certifier to ensure plans are compliant with relevant codes and standards.
Work as part of the wider construction team to ensure that technical designs for buildings are practical, accurate and safe.
Produce technical guidelines and advice on a building's dimensions or structural load.
Effectively communicate potential design problems to the project team.
Check plans, designs and drawings for accuracy.
Set a timeline for design project completion, effectively communicate with key stakeholders.
Ensure adherence to project budgets, timelines, and quality standards.
Develop innovative and practical design concepts, sample selections and finishing schedules.
Present design proposals to key stakeholders, incorporating their feedback and making necessary revisions.
Assist the BDM in outlining the benefits of professional design and construction services, with the ability to articulate the benefits of services.
Prompt the business to look for Design add-on opportunities.
Maintain positive relationships with all stakeholders throughout the course of projects.
Work closely with the wider team to ensure client expectations are exceeded.
Stay up to date with new and emerging drafting software and advancements.
