On behalf of Marra Worra Worra Aboriginal Corporation, the primary aim of Marra Worra Worra is to work with Bunuba, Gooniyandi, Wangkatjungka, Walmajarri and Nyikina groups in the Fitzroy Valley to strengthen culture, support community and create sustainable employment solutions. We are searching for a capable Case Management Officer reporting to the Case Management Coordinator to support the effective delivery of a range of employment service functions.
The Case Management Officer is responsible for the following duties:
• Provides information, options, support and advocacy for individuals and can explore, develop and implement strategies for finding employment;
• Maintain Job Seeker files, file notes and relevant forms for Job Seekers
• Establish and maintain productive relationships within the community, local Indigenous organisations, government departments and other key stakeholders.
• Travel to communities to meet with Job Seekers for their monthly appointments as part of outreach
About you:
• Current driver’s licence (manual)
• high level of communication and interpersonal skills
• ability to manage time, set priorities and achieve outcomes in a demanding environment
• ability to interact with, and develop rapport with, people in diverse backgrounds
• Ability to maintain files and documentation
