Corner Store Cafe is looking for a professional Café and Restaurant Manager to join our team.
Salary $73,150 to $85,000 per year plus superannuation
Duties:
• Planning menus in consultation with Chefs
• Planning and organising special functions
• Arranging the purchasing and pricing of goods according to budget
• Maintaining records of stock levels and financial transactions
• Ensuring dining facilities comply with health regulations and are clean, functional and of suitable appearance
• Conferring with customers to assess their satisfaction with meals and service
• Selecting, training and supervising waiting and kitchen staff
• May take reservations, greet guests and assist in taking orders
Skills and Experience:
- Diploma in Hospitality Management or Business (preferable, not mandatory).
- At least 2 year’s experience in the hospitality industry.
- Supervisory experience in the hospitality industry.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
- Dedication to delivering exceptional customer service.
Preference will be given to applicants with experience working on a number of projects simultaneously, showing a commitment to ongoing education and self-improvement either within the industry. Being multi-lingual is an advantage.
