Job purpose
Our busy, client-focused agriculture commodity desk needs an ambitious and detail-oriented team player to
- Generate revenue via clearing and broking
- Commodities Sales and Risk management function
- Exchange Futures and Over the Counter Solutions
- Expand products and client coverage
- Onboarding of new clients
Key Responsibilities
Pricing and executing trades, sending out trade confirmations, liaising with middle and back office on trades
Create daily reports and send to customers
Keep clients up to date with market news
Collect and analyse data
Develop Risk Management Strategy for Customers
Interact with clients across client segments
Expand client relationships by taking responsibility of primary coverage for clients and onboarding new ones
Qualification and Skills
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; advanced degree preferred
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience required
- Good understanding of major agriculture commodities
- Agriculture or derivatives industry experience
- Excellent communication skills
- Advanced Excel Skills
- Market Information system knowledge (such as Bloomberg/CQG)
