Competitive base hourly rate of $42. (Weekend work and overtime at applicable higher rate)
About the Role
Reporting to the Workshop Manager, the primary role of the Vehicle Body Repair/Fabricator is to support the Bodyshop with repairs following accidents and impacts on our bus fleet, including maintenance and repairs, fabrication of sections and components (from sheet metal, pipes, wood, fibreglass and other materials) spray painting of vehicles and the servicing of workshop equipment.
You will work on a modern, well-maintained fleet including Diesel, Gas and Hybrid vehicles (electric coming in early ) from Scania, MAN, Mercedes, Volvo, and Iveco, to enable our drivers to provide a safe and efficient service to our community.
What we need from you to succeed
Relevant trade certificate.
Organised, with an ability to prioritise work tasks.
