SGS Australia is looking for an experience Lab Assistant for our laboratory in Kalgoorlie, with Chemist background to perform weighing of samples, digestions and volumetric preparation of geochemical samples, and ICP instrumentation. Other simple laboratory functions performed as required. Roster 8 days on/4 days off (12hrs shift day and night)
Responsibilities are, but not limited to:
Perform wet chemistry analysis of geochemical samples.
Ensure quality and quantities of samples are produced.
Maintain daily production targets.
All functions to be performed in correct numerical order and following established procedures.
Follows set QC requirements and avoids contamination.
Must use appropriate personal protective
