Our client, a mid-tier gold producer is seeking an Underground Mining Engineer to join their new underground operation.
Requirements:
Bachelor degree in mining engineering;
Competent using Deswik, Aegus and Ventsim;
Underground time completed - preferable.
Position Duties:
Deliver practical drill and charge plans to operations to meet and exceed targets;
Develop and provide safe and efficient drill and blast plans;
Provide technical advice, planning and methodology of all aspects of the underground mining operation;
Contribute to monitoring of all mine activities, including ventilation;
Provide rolling development and production schedules and other relevant information as required;
Assistance with the development of life of mine plans and development of operational budgets;

4-5 years experience working in a similar role
