About the role
You will be part of a large steelmaking team at the Rolling Mills in the Rooty Hill Steel Mill, reporting to the Shift Leader. The roster is 12-hour shifts and it's a 24/7 plant: rotating between day and night shifts.
We will provide training for each area of the Rolling Mill
The different roles include various manual handling sections across the process end to end
Cabin crane and Forklift operation
It is important that you are committed to learning the steel industry and joining a global business where you will gain exposure to best practice in safety. You will have stability and long-term career development.
Tradesman and/or labouring experience
Excellent work ethic and willingness to learn
Forklift ticket ideal
Computer literate to learn to operate HMI's
