We have an exciting opportunity within the Safety department of ALDI Stores, based in Brendale. This is a permanent full-time position.
This role is integral to the efficient operation of the ALDI Safety Department. You will promote and drive a positive safety culture by supporting operational teams in managing health and safety risks within our Store Operations.
- Provide technical guidance and advice on health and safety matters by interpreting legislative requirements
- Conduct risk assessments, incident investigations, periodic audits and site visits, and develop Safe Work Procedures (SWPs) as directed
- Build strong relationships with key stakeholders through consultation, training, and development
- Respond to WHS incidents for the region, and actively manage your area of responsibility within the team by using initiative, and suggesting ways of improving systems for greater efficiency
- Assist in the maintenance and periodic review of the WHS Management system, Safety Online and the Contractor Management System
- Analyse and report on safety data to monitor and review performance against WHS KPIs and targets
- Assist with injury management activities if required.
