In this role, duties will include:
* Perform purchasing/importing function such as the issuance of purchase orders on vendors and associated companies. Handle all relevant correspondence.
* Determines the most economical material source and shipping method.
* Arranges all necessary shipping documentation and expediting purchase orders where necessary.
* Schedule, reschedule or cancel purchase orders as usage warrants, to maintain optimum stock levels to meet business requirements and to maximise inventory turnover.
