Joyce Krane Australia is based in the Pilbara Region of Western Australia and has over the last forty years become the regional heavy lifting and logistics specialist of choice. The Pilbara headquarters are in Karratha and there is a second operation west along the coast in Onslow.
We are currently seeking to fill the following roles within our company:
- Crane Operator
- Dogman Rigger
- Truck Driver
Applicants must have at least 2 years' experience in a similar role to what they're applying for.
Crane Operators will be responsible for:
- Operating company crane assets which include, Pick and Carry, All Terrain, Rough Terrain and lattice boom cranes in a safe and efficient manner.
- Conducting pre-start checks on all machinery before use and identify faults and/or defects.
- Promoting a positive safety culture, understand the duty of care principles and be competent to conduct risk assessments and complete JSAs before any work commences.
- Be familiar with each piece of equipment before use by way of in-house training, reading the operator’s manual and completing a Verification of Competency.
- Operators will follow all company policies and procedures including all golden rules and are expected to conduct themselves in a professional and courteous manner to all clientele, making sure they follow all company and site-specific rules and regulations, and work in an efficient manner.
They will also hold a High Risk Work licence, Working at Heights ticket, MSIC Card, and a driver's licence is preferred.
Dogman Riggers will be responsible for:
- Conducting general dogging and rigging work with the company and able to choose correct rigging gear checking all components for SWL.
- Conducting site checks for crane placements.
- Be familiar with general crane operation to identify faults or defects that may affect the crane operation and conduct pre-start checks for faults or defects.
- Understanding the duty of care principles and be competent to conduct and read lift surveys before any work commences.
- Using and understanding all crane signals and act in a professional and courteous manner to all clientele.
- Following company specific rules and regulations and work in an efficient manner.
- Be familiar with and follow company policies and procedures and promote a positive safety culture.
They will also have a Dogman and/or Rigger licence, a High Risk Work Licence, Working at Heights ticket, MSIC card, and a driver's licence is preferred.
Truck Drivers will be responsible for:
- General truck driving of single, double and triple trailers including 50-100 float.
- Conducting pre-start checks on all machinery before use and identify any faults or defects.
- Promoting a positive safety culture.
- Understanding the duty of care principles and conduct risk assessments and JSAs before any work commences.
- Be familiar with each piece of equipment before use by way of inhouse training and reading the operators manual.
- Following company policies and procedures including all golden rules.
- Conducting themselves in a professional and courteous manner to all clientele, making sure they follow all site and company specific rules and regulations and work in an efficient manner.
They will also hold a Heavy Duty licence, Mine Workers Health Surveillance Card, and MSIC card.
The successful applicants will be offered a salary between $75,000 - $110,000.
