What you will do:

Reporting to the Product Owner Marketing Technology, you will join the business as an integral part of our digital projects team. You will drive the delivery of guest centric design solutions for both new and existing digital experiences across all customer journeys. Use your skills in understanding user pain points and user interaction design to deliver exceptional guest experiences.  This is a 12 month fixed term opportunity, to dip your toes in the water and gain beneficial experience with a growing, fast paced business and industry!

The User Experience Designer will also:

  • Creates innovative solutions for a wide variety of user experience design challenges across all digital channels centred around new Headless CMS for holiday parks and resorts.
  • Leads the design for new digital experiences and improvements of existing digital experiences.
  • Identifies guest blockers/issues and opportunities to drive booking conversion, while championing the guest through creative and collaborative problem solving.
  • Advocates for guest centric design solutions, highlighting inputs that influenced the decisions (including business and user goals, customer analytics, user testing and research findings).
  • Develops visual concepts, storyboards, wireframes, and prototypes to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas
  • Develops and maintains detailed user-interface specifications and digital brand style guides (including Figma and brand style guides, style sheets, templates, and assets).
  • Presents design work to multiple teams and senior leadership for review and feedback.

What you will bring:

  • Tertiary qualifications in user/customer experience design, human-computer interaction (HCI), or equivalent professional experience
  • 5+ years of experience as a user experience designer, interaction designer or similar role.
  • Understanding of conversion optimisation principles, user testing methodology and processes
  • A portfolio or samples of work demonstrating experience creating great user-centered design solutions
  • Experience working in a fast paced ever changing environment. 
  • Passion and enthusiasm for providing an exceptional customer experience and all things digital
  • Inductry expereince is icing on the cake!
