KEY OBJECTIVES:
The main purpose of this position is to provide direct care to the clients of the Nindilingarri Cultural Health Services Commonwealth Home Support Programme
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Support and participate in accreditation and quality improvement processes and activities at NCHS;
In conjunction with the Coordinator Review all clients of the service as required Act as interpreter for clients Assess people requesting services as required Keep all client files up to date
Provide care to clients as agreed with the Coordinator and as written into the clients care plan. This may include: Assist clients in carrying out self-care tasks including bathing, dressing, toileting, feeding, personal washing, grooming, getting into and out of bed Assist clients with minor dressings. Escort clients to medical / hospital appointments or elsewhere
Assist clients with social activities including shopping
