Our client, a federal government agency is looking to recruit an APS 4 Payroll Officer to assist with administrative payroll tasks in an accurate and timely manner.
As a Payroll Officer, you will be undergoing a range of general payroll processing functions and providing advice on payroll-related matters. You will also be responsible for ensuring salaries are paid correctly and on time.
Your other responsibilities will also include, but not be limited to:
Maintain appropriate records and file documents according to protocols
Investigate/calculate over and underpayments of salary
Undertake payroll processing functions to maintain accurate staff records using SAP
Contribute to process improvement in the work
