Accountant – Full time
SALARY
$75,000 – $85,000 AUD + superannuation
(based on experience and negotiation)
Duties and Responsibilities
- Prepare Monthly Cash Flow Forecast.
- Prepare Budget vs Actual Analysis and Quarterly Revenue Analysis.
- Intercompany Revenue and Billing Analysis for Legal Entity Validate Profit & Loss Forecast.
- Assist with onboarding new customers through the company customer process.
- Report on Aged Receivables plus other ad hoc reporting as required.
- Identify and lead continuous improvements of accounting systems, processes, procedures, and policies.
- Manage in-person, phone, email correspondence with customers and external stakeholder in a timely manner about financial matters.
- Report invoice status to management as required in a timely manner.
- Generating, printing, recording and documenting customer invoices as required.
- Correcting, updating, and filing customer invoices following the company's invoice documentation process.
- Receive, apply, and reconcile customer account payments in various payment methods of cash, cheque, or bank transfer.
- Resolve customer queries, disputes and/or invoicing issues including following up with internal departments to resolve issues.
- Liaising with Sales Team and customers on payment reminders and follow ups.
- Minimize the age and size of debtors ledger through collection activities by email/phone communication, and preparation and distribution of reminder statements, suspension notices and all other written accounts communication as required.
- Other related duties as assigned by the Finance and Management Team.
Qualification and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or business finance
- Studying CPA or currently under a CPA Program Study
- 2 to 3 years of Accounting Work Experience
- Experience in Australian Tax Compliance system
