As a cherished local venue located at Tullamarine, Victoria 3043, Melrose Pizza offers a distinctive dining experience where friends and family can gather to savour delicious food in a pleasant setting.
Qualifications and Requirements:
• Minimum qualification of Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery.
• Must have at least two (2) years of Australian experience in a similar setting.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Planning menus, calculating labour and food expenditures, and placing food supply orders.
• Ensuring the food quality throughout the entire preparation and presentation process.
• Consulting with Managers, Dietitians, and the Kitchen and Waiting Staff about food preparation concerns.
• Demonstrating approaches and guiding cooking procedures.
• Preparing and cooking food.
• Discussing and implementing sanitary guidelines.
• Selecting and training new staff members.
• Freezing and storing food to avoid cross-contamination.
• Organising the provision of food and drink for special occasions.
• Complying with food safety regulations and maintaining the kitchen clean and sanitary.
• Ensuring food meets the highest standards of safety, flavour, and presentation.
Salary:
$70,000 to $80,000 per annum.
