Contract Administrator – Traffic Management, ARGUS Traffic
Hours – Full-Time Position
Location – Marrickville, Sydney
Salary - $ 110,000.00
• ARGUS Construction Services (NSW) are looking to recruit an experienced Traffic Control Contract Administrator who possesses all the required technical qualifications and professional attributes required to excel in the role. They must hold a relevant diploma plus two years of relevant work experience in the traffic control industry and be able to demonstrate high-level person management skills and be a positive and motivated leader.
Job Role:
Contract Administrator – Traffic Management
• The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day coordination and management of Traffic Management projects, including but not limited to labour, vehicles, plant, and materials and will have the skill set to communicate and deliver the requirements of site managers, project managers.
• The successful candidate will have a minimum of 2 years experience working in the Traffic control industry as a contract administrator and hold a relevant qualification.
• The successful candidate must be able to respond to client requests in a professional and timely manner.
• The successful candidate will be able to quote for project work, negotiate the financial terms and manage commercial aspects of the project including variations and final account submission
• The successful candidate must have experience using Inviron software and be able to understand and make required changes to project specification, TGS and project documentation and possess the relevant qualifications to do so.
• The successful candidate must have proven knowledge and qualification in WHS and be able to produce site-specific SWMS
• The successful candidate will have a working relationship with Sydney-based councils to facilitate the application and approval of permits, ROLs etc.
• The successful candidate will have a working knowledge of TCAWS Issue No.6
• The successful candidate will be available to field out-of-hour calls and requests from clients and deal will any allocation issues as they arise.
• The successful candidate must have experience of working with Assigner software.
• The successful candidate will have a good knowledge of Excel, Word, Outlook and Project Commander.
• The successful candidate will be responsible for the implementation and management of the ARGUS Traffic well-being programme.
• The successful candidate will have the skills to order/hire materials, plant, uniforms etc
• The successful candidate will be able to submit quotations to clients and have an understanding of the invoicing and payroll functions.
• The successful candidate will have experience working on CFMEU construction sites.
• The successful candidate will be able to prepare weekly labour and cost reports for management review meetings. Liaise and advise with senior management and implement their decisions.
• The successful candidate must possess Human Resource experience and exceptional inter-personnel skills as they will be the main point of contact for all of the company’s site operatives.
• The successful candidate will embody and represent ARGUS Traffic's codes of conduct and Company Standards
