Full time Interior Designer
SALARY $75,000 + SUPERANNUATION
Summary of the role:
plan, design, detail and supervise the construction of building interiors
Main Duties:
- Coordinating with different consultants related to each project.
- Coordinating with architects on the business projects.
- Researching and analysing space and functionality requirements.
- Preparation of design concepts according to each project brief.
- Supporting the concept by draft plans, sketches and illustrations.
- Preparation mood boards and material selections for different projects.
- Selection of functional and aesthetic furniture.
- Supervising and project management construction of interiors.
- Negotiating design solutions with suppliers and construction staff.
- Project management of development applications with the relevant authorities.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Diploma or above qualification and a minimum of two years’ work experience OR three years for non-holders of qualification.
- Experience in hotels and resorts is an advantage but not essential.
- English is a must. French or Spanish is a plus.
