• Overseeing cost control and budgeting, with a focus on reducing food and labour costs.
• Leading the recruitment, training, and development of the culinary team.
• Staying informed about local competition, suppliers, and industry trends.

Qualifications
• Culinary trade qualifications
• At least 2 years of experience in a similar role within the hotel industry
• Proven leadership skills with a track record of effectively managing a kitchen team
• In-depth knowledge of food cost control and budgeting
• Extensive experience with food hygiene standards, HACCP procedures, and workplace health and safety (WH&S) regulations
• Ability to work a rotating roster, including weekends and public holidays
