Ripples Chowder Bay is currently recruiting for Chefs to join our friendly and motivated team.
From 2 hatted fine dining to stunning waterfront views and relaxed café fare, Sydney Restaurant Group is diverse, offering a range of restaurant experiences to suit every occasion.
Some of your main duties will include, but are not limited to the following:
• Preparation and cooking of menu items;
• Ensuring food safety regulations are adhered to at all times;
• Ensuring the standard of food is of the highest quality;
• Training of kitchen staff
We are looking for candidates with the following qualities:
• Relevant Diploma qualification and/or 2-3 years of relevant employment experience;
• Ability to multi-task, to work in a fast-paced environment and remain calm under pressure;• Reliable, punctual and trust worthy;
• High standard of personal presentation and hygiene;
• Must work well in a team environment;
• Positive attitude and passion for cooking;
• Sound understanding of HACCP & Food and Safety Regulations & requirements;
• Flexibility to work a rotating roster including weekends and public holidays.
Job Type: Permanent Full-time
Salary Package: $70,000 to $75,000 plus Super depending on qualifications and experience.
