Karridale Roadhouse – Full time WAITER position
We are looking for a WAITER to join our wonderful team!
Karridale Roadhouse is a busy Service station serving fuel, barista coffee, hot/cold foods in our cafe, convenience items and general grocery lines
The successful candidate must have a relevant AQF or equivalent Certificate II or III, or otherwise you must have at least one year full time previous experience in a similar role for a minimum of 1 year.
The main duties for this Waiter role look like this:
• Greeting and seating guests.
• Providing guests with water and food & drinks menus upon seating.
• Setting tables and setting them up according to bookings.
• Serving food and drinks.
• Taking orders and passing them on to kitchen.
• Advise on dietary requirements.
• Take cash payments and operate cash register.
• Take electronic payments.
• Operate the Point Of Sale system.
• Clearing tables and putting away dishes, cutlery, empty bottles and glasses from tables to where they belong (eg. kitchen, recycling container, bar, etc.)
• Keeping the cafe clean.
• Practicing the correct workplace health and safety procedures.
• Any other ad hoc duties relevant to the position including sales and restocking of food, drinks and other items.
You will be reporting directly to the Site Manager.
This is a fulltime (38 hours/week) position and includes some weekend work.
Annual salary: $66k + superannuation
