This Customer Service Consultant position is with a well-established Australian customer-owned Bank, based at their Brisbane Inner City Contact Centre office.
Your new role
As a Customer Service Consultant based in a Contact Centre, you will be responsible for handling high volume inbound calls/enquiries and transactions as well as outbound follow-up activity (communication via calls predominantly, emails, live chat). You will provide support to customers within the Personal Banking space, handling customer enquiries regarding; opening accounts, internet banking, debit or credit cards, payments/transfers, fraud/theft, foreign exchange & Insurance. Ultimately, you will be identifying opportunities to assist customers with the Bank's range of products and services, and liaise with internal teams to provide solutions.

Start Date: 23rd September 2024
Employment Type: Full Time, Permanent
Work Hours: Monday - Friday, day and afternoon shifts between the hours of 8am-8pm, with a Rotational Saturday 9am-2pm shift
Hybrid Role: After two months, a hybrid model will be introduced, where you will work two days from home
Location: Brisbane Inner City
Training: 6 week training program
What you'll need to succeed
Proven recent Customer Service experience
Banking &/or Contact Centre experience is preferred, but also open to Retail or Receptionist experience
Proven experience working in a fast-paced role
Strong communication/interpersonal skills
Strong computer skills
