Location: Suite 2, 38 Meadowvale Ave, South Perth, WA 6151
Full-time; Permanent
Salary range AU$65.000 to AU$75.000 depending on experience
We are a respected and established pediatric dental clinic with over 15 years of experience, serving more than 10,000 patients across our three locations. Due to our expansion and increasing reliance on technology for patient and clinic management, we recognize the need for more efficient IT support.
We are seeking a dedicated IT Support Engineer to join our team and manage all of our internal systems. This role will ensure that our technology operations run smoothly and effectively. As an in-house IT Support Engineer, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the efficiency of our processes and providing high-quality technical support for our needs.

About the role

? Monitoring and maintain the IT infrastructure across all clinics, ensuring smooth integration of patient management and imaging diagnostic systems. This includes helping with server maintenance and database management as needed, working with external support teams, and monitoring and optimizing the performance of staff-operated machines and devices.
? Conduct quality inspections and assess system performance. Develop and run test plans to ensure solutions meet expected quality standards.
? Optimize processes, reduce maintenance costs, and automate critical tasks like backups and other essential operations. Suggest and implement architectural improvements for both third-party software integration and hardware.
? Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in IT systems, including hardware, software, and network problems. Provide support to staff for issue resolution and implement improvements to prevent future problems.
? Manage computing resources, including network devices and peripherals, ensuring they work correctly with clinic systems. Set up personal computers for staff, ensuring access to integrated systems, virtual machines, and synchronization with physical servers and databases.
? Contribute to develop and maintain technical and user documentation for staff.
? Perform regular audits of systems to ensure they meet established requirements and comply with patient data privacy and security standards. Update and review technical documentation to reflect any changes or improvements.
? Provide training and support to clinic staff to ensure effective use of systems. Communicate clearly with team members to address requests and promote a good understanding of tools and processes.
? Maintain effective communication with all stakeholders and departments to ensure IT needs are met and updates or changes are implemented smoothly.
? Stay updated on technological trends and suggest adjustments to IT systems to support company growth and evolving technologies in the clinics. Collaborate on improving processes and systems by analyzing the current system, integrating modern solutions, and developing and implementing customized solutions to enhance internal processes and meet the clinic's specific needs.

About you

? Has a minimum of 4 years of experience in ICT support.
? Has a relevant bachelor degree or higher qualification or equivalent overseas degree
? Possesses strong skills in analysing, evaluating, and diagnosing problems and issues in technical installations, including internet, email, database, software, and hardware.
? Demonstrates a teamwork perspective and the ability to handle pressure during unexpected issues.
? Is proficient in a second language, preferably Portuguese or Spanish.
? Has essential communication and comprehension skills in English.
? Has a reliable computer and internet connection at home to work in a possible hybrid system.
? Upholds ethical standards and shows respect in all interactions.
? Proven experience in process optimization and proposing architectural improvements.
? Strong knowledge in managing computational resources, including virtual machines, physical servers, and databases.
? Expertise in system auditing and technical documentation.
? Proficiency in process automation and task scheduling.
