About the role:
We are currently seeking a part-time Peer Support Worker to join our Mental Health team in Emerald. Our Peer Support Worker will share their learnings and wisdom of a personal lived experience to inspire hope for recovery. They will develop groups to build personal connections and life skills and support people to restore, maintain and develop relationships.
What will a typical day look like?
Effectively and appropriately hold crucial conversations with people who access our services to connect, support and build mutual understanding, trust, and shared experience.
Develop groups to reduce social isolation and build capacity.
