We are currently seeking to appoint a professional and experienced Sous Chef to look after the Banquets and Events Departments of the Hotel.
Applicants must have at least 2 years' experience in a similar role and hold a relevant trade qualification.
Reporting to the Director of Food & Beverage, you will be responsible for the day to day running of the Banquets and Events Department.
You will be experienced in Hotel and Banquet Operations but will also have the extensive experience in a la carte. Additionally, experience in stocktake, ordering, rosters, team leadership, menu design and costing with the ability to take complete control over the kitchen in the absence of the Executive Chef is essential. You will also have a love for the industry and be seeking a true challenge.
