About us
First things first, we are a team of 30 at Chris Barnard Nursing Agency (Or more commonly known as CBNA!) located in Malvern East. We work exclusively with Aged Care Facilities to support their staffing needs of healthcare workers (think Nurses, Personal carers, cleaners, and so on) across Melbourne and Gippsland.
We are now looking for a Senior Recruitment Consultant with an attractive salary of $75k to $85k
The Role Includes
* Issuing candidates onboarding packs and ensuring they are completed to 100% compliance
* Conducting interviews through various methods including Teams, Zoom, video calls and face-to-face
* Receiving and recording staffing requirements from Aged Care clients, including their job descriptions, wages, and conditions of employment
* Arranging and publishing job vacancies, interviewed and screened candidates, and was primarily involved in the selection of Aged Care staff
* Effectively interviewed applicants to determine their job requirements and suitability for jobs and assisting Aged Care employers in finding suitable staff.
* Responsible for a variety of HR functions which included recruitment, employee relations, planning, monitoring, risk mitigation, employment law, performance management
* Managing grievances from payroll to HR issues
* Investigating workplace bullying and incidents, and delivering appropriate and timely resolutions
* Coordinating workforce objectives and strategies with employers
* Strong understanding of human resource functions and processes in the Aged Care industry. Establishing HR departmental measures, which supported the company’s strategic goals
* Undertaking negotiations on terms and conditions of employment, and examining and resolving disputes and grievances
* Providing information on current job openings with Aged Care clients of Chris Barnard Nursing Agency to job seekers
* Conducting the formation and conduct of workplace consultative committees and employee participation initiative
* Recruiting, training and managing a team of recruiters.
* Maintaining a strong knowledge base of industry and connect with relevant talent to ensure CBNA remain competitive in the candidate market, whilst actively building and engaging with an ongoing pipeline to fill current and future vacancies
The candidate must require:
* Minimum 3 years' experience as a Recruitment Consultant in Aged Care Industry
* To be able to travel between our Regional & Interstate to our offices (Traralgon, Geelong, Bendigo & Tasmania)
* The ability to handle multiple live roles at once (10 – 20 candidates weekly)
* Experience working to and exceeding targets and deliverables.
* Developed candidate management and interview skills.
* History of lead generation and outcomes
* Strong time management and critical thinking ability
* Positive and energetic approach to your working day
