We are now embarking on an exciting new venture in the heart of Sydney's CBD: six upscale venues in a single location, poised to become Australia's premier Japanese food emporium. We are seeking top talent to be part of this exciting journey.

Due to our continued growth, we are looking for an in-house photographer with a strong editorial aesthetic and the ability to create compelling content for our advertising, marketing, and branding efforts. This role will involve working on regular projects across all of our restaurants.
This is a full-time opportunity for an enthusiastic, hardworking and reliable person.

Location: Sydney, NSW

Duties and Key Responsibilities:

• Engage with, consult and report to director to establish the goals of photography projects
• Liaise with marketing and other teams in photography needs to meet objectives of advertising or branding campaigns for entire corporate group
• Evaluate assignment needs, selecting suitable cameras, film, filters, and lighting
• Work in a studio or on location, transporting and setting up equipment as required
• Measure light levels and determine the appropriate exposure
• Modify camera angles, aperture settings, and subject positioning to obtain the intended composition.
• Fine-tune lighting and filters to enhance highlights and colours according to brief
• Mix photographic chemicals, process film, and develop prints, where prints are required for the brief
• Manipulate and edit images using digital imaging and creative darkroom techniques, such as adjusting exposure and development times.
• Create enlarged prints and handle mounting and framing, if needed.
Experience
• At least 2 years of relevant work experience preferred
• Experience with projects in the hospitality industry will be strongly considered
• Holds at least a AQF Associate Degree, Advanced Diploma or Diploma or has 3 years of relevant experience to substitute

Annual salary package: $80,000.00 – $100,000.00 per annum plus superannuation
