Kogan People Solutions are working to assist our client who operates a highly regarded, iconic restaurant located in the heart of Brisbane. This restaurant, housed in an atmospheric former cathedral has been serving family favourites including pancakes, burgers, steaks and much more, for many years.
Open 24 hours a day, this exciting restaurant is best known for its delightful array of pancakes and sweet treats. Additionally, the restaurant serves a variety of burgers, crepes and beverages, ensuring a wide range of options for every taste.
With a dedication for providing an excellent customer experience, our client is now seeking a new Restaurant Manager to join and lead their happy team. A top salary negotiable in the range $70k to $80k plus superannuation per annum is on offer and the role is full time and ongoing, requiring shifts across the week, evenings and weekend.

About you:
You have a passion for the hospitality industry and are familiar with a premium F&B offer. You can demonstrate an unwavering commitment to service and premises presentation of the very highest standard, whilst aligning and motivating a cohesive and hardworking team environment.
Responsibilities:
• Work alongside the Chefs and other members of the management team as well as the business owners to plan and introduce new menus and menu items to maximise sales considering customer feedback, seasonal variations, costs and other relevant information.
• Development and training of all wait staff.
• Recruit, oversee and supervise front of house staff.
• Meet and greet patrons, regularly gather valuable feedback.
• Manage special events/functions bookings as necessary.
• Management of stock levels and financial records.
• Be responsible for purchasing and pricing with a view to managing COGS and ensuring appropriate budget outcomes.
• Ensure strict adherence with OH&S and Food Safety standard.
To succeed in this role, you:
• Possess excellent relevant qualifications (Diploma or better).
• Have at least 2 to 3 years (preferably more) professional experience working in a restaurant management role since earning your qualifications.
• Are a flexible, hands on, energetic and a proactive leader.
• Are available across the working week including nights and weekends.
• Offer proven ability to prioritise, set goals and have the determination to achieve them.
• Have a passion for delivering exceptional food service & customer experience.
• Enjoy being professionally presented and enjoy liaising with patrons.
• Have unrestricted Australian working rights.
