We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented CAD Draftsperson to join our dynamic team. This role is crucial in ensuring that our designs and projects are executed flawlessly, from initial concept through to final fabrication. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SolidWorks CAD software and a passion for delivering high-quality work in a fast-paced environment.
Main Duties/Responsibilities:
• Completion of technical blueprints, drawings, and models in SolidWorks CAD software.
• Creation of parts, assemblies, design tables, and detailed drawings for fabrication.
• Expertise in sheet metal design.
• Handle multiple projects with a keen eye for detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Organised with the ability to meet strict deadlines.
• Prepare, review, and redraft designs autonomously and within a team.
• Assist in preparing bills of materials.
• Maintain a clean and safe workspace, adhering to workplace health and safety policies.
• Ensure all projects are completed on time.
• Maintain a clean and presentable office environment.
• Professionally interact with clients, suppliers, and team members.
Experience Required:
• Expert level in Solidworks for Mechanical Design or equivalent
• Working towards a Diploma in Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role or industry.
Annual Salary will start at $70,000+
This will be reviewed if the successful candidate has experience and knowledge.
