The Role
This is a full time position with an annual salary between $ 73,300 to $76,300 depending on experience plus superannuation.
The Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for the following tasks:
Collaborating with Construction Managers, Architects, and Surveyors to plan and organize resources specifically for high-end, custom luxury home projects.
Interpreting architectural plans and building regulations to ensure all custom designs meet luxury standards and regulatory codes.
Preparing and reviewing detailed preliminary sketches, working drawings, and specifications for bespoke luxury home features.
Modifying and revising plans, maps, and drawings to reflect custom client requests while maintaining budgetary constraints.
Coordinating construction programs to ensure the timely and budget-conscious delivery of luxury home projects.
Inspecting work and premium materials to ensure they meet the high-quality standards expected in luxury home construction.
Calculating costs of bespoke materials, specialized labour, and unique design elements to provide accurate cost estimates.
Estimating time scales for custom home construction, considering the complexity of luxury finishes and high-end craftsmanship.
Collecting and analysing data using advanced surveying instruments and photogrammetric equipment to support precise cost estimations for luxury home sites.
Performing detailed computations and plotting data to assist in the budgeting and financial planning of luxury home construction projects.
Evaluating tender submissions from specialized subcontractors and suppliers to ensure competitive pricing for high-quality materials and services.
Preparing comprehensive cost reports and financial forecasts to guide Pavilius Constructions in maintaining profitability while delivering luxury homes.
Advising on cost-saving measures and alternative high-quality materials that align with the luxury market without compromising on quality.
Liaising with premium suppliers and subcontractors to secure the best rates and ensure the availability of exclusive materials and services for custom luxury home projects.

The Requirements
Relevant degree qualification
At least 3 years of medium projects cost estimate or cost management experience
At least 3 years’ experience in the commercial building and construction sector
Verifiable track record of engagement in the project management or supervision will be considered prioritized
Ability to read and interpret contracts, specifications and drawings
Comfortable working under pressure and meeting strict deadlines
Ability to communicate effectively with clients, contractors, suppliers, and site/project managers
Ability to resolve issues quickly and efficiently, ensuring minimal disruption to project timelines
Commitment to staying updated with industry trends, technologies, and best practices
In-depth knowledge of local building codes, standards, and regulations
Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective project documentation and stakeholder communication
