Wills Domain Winery and Restaurant located in Yallingup WA is seeking experienced hospitality enthusiasts to join our front-of-house team as waiter or waitress supervisor for the restaurant & cellar. ANZSCO code 070499.
Requirements:
At least 1 year of restaurant fine dining and events experience
At least 1 year of proven experience working as a supervisor in the hospitality industry
The ability to work in a fast-paced environment
1 year minimum commitment
Exceptional customer service skills
Leadership & communication skills
Ability to use restaurant management software
Possess operational health and safety knowledge
Highly motivated and be able to work proactively with minimum supervision
Main duties (may include but not limited to):
Greet and escort customers to their tables
Present menu and provide detailed information when asked (e.g. about portions, ingredients or potential food allergies)
Prepare tables by setting up linens, cutlery and glasses
Wine pairing & museum wines up-sell.
Recommend wines / beverages to complement food
Take accurate food and drinks orders, using a POS ordering software, order slips or by memorization
Check customers’ IDs to ensure they meet minimum age requirements for consumption of alcoholic beverages
Serve food and drink orders
Arrange table settings and maintain a tidy dining area
Deliver checks and collect bill payments
Carry dirty plates, glasses and silverware to kitchen for cleaning
Supervising and training food and beverage attendants at a lower level
Deliver superior service and maximize customer satisfaction
Respond efficiently and accurately to customer complaints
Regularly review product quality and research new vendors
Ensure compliance with sanitation and safety regulations
Assist the restaurant manager and support the front of house to manage staff under your supervision productively and efficiently in the day to day operations of the Wills Domain Winery Restaurant and Cellar Door Café
Rewards:
Full time position
Salary: from AUD63,000 to AUD70,000 per year plus superannuation
Staff meals will be provided on shift
