As a Wedding & Special Events Manager at Mondrian Gold Coast, your mission is to create exceptional and memorable wedding and special events for our clients. Reporting to the Director of Sales, you will be responsible for meticulously planning and coordinating all aspects of weddings and special events, ensuring each event is flawlessly executed and tailored to the unique desires of our guests. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Act as the primary point of contact for wedding and special event inquiries and consultations.
Build strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs, preferences, and vision for their special day.
Conduct site tours and showcase the hotel's venues and services.
Collaborate closely with clients to plan and customize weddings and special events, ensuring all details align with their expectations.
Coordinate with various departments (catering, culinary, housekeeping, etc.) to ensure seamless execution of events.
Create and manage detailed event timelines and itineraries.
Liaise with external vendors (florists, photographers, decorators, etc.) to coordinate services and ensure quality standards are met.
Negotiate contracts and pricing with vendors, adhering to budgetary constraints.
Oversee the setup and execution of weddings and special events, ensuring all aspects meet Mondrian Gold Coast's high standards of excellence.
Provide on-site supervision during events to address any issues promptly and ensure guest satisfaction.
Assist in promoting the hotel's venues and services through marketing initiatives and applicable trade shows.
Participate in sales efforts, including conducting tours and presentations to prospective clients.
Participate in the preparation of the strategic business and sales plans.
