Hays is proud to partner with one of the largest water providers in South East Queensland on a water treatment operator role for a water treatment plant based in the western suburbs of Brisbane.
Your new role
As a Water Treatment Operator, you will undertake a range of duties to ensure continuous and efficient operation of water treatment plants. You will use sound judgement and technical knowledge to ensure supply demand is met, whilst monitoring and testing water quality, chemical dosing and responding to and resolving alarms and equipment faults. You will be part of the Operations Group, which will be responsible for the ongoing asset management, operation and maintenance of water infrastructure assets and catchment areas, and the ongoing provision of bulk water supply services to meet customer service requirements and regulatory obligations.
