Kogan People Solutions are working with a rapidly growing warehousing and logistics management company based in Seven Hills, NSW. An Australian-owned business established in 2016, our client is a leading provider of innovative warehousing and inventory management solutions.
With expertise in the latest technology and software methodologies, our client now seeks a talented and suitably experienced Software Engineer to join their busy team.
Location: Seven Hills, NSW
Salary on offer: Negotiable in the range of $80k to $90k plus superannuation per annum.
The role:
Reporting directly to the Software Lead, your role will provide technical expertise in the full lifecycle application development, including design, modifications, documenting, testing, implementing, installing and support of software applications and systems. The role is full time and ongoing.
Responsibilities of the role of Software Engineer will include:
• Providing technical expertise during consulting and proposal phases.
• Contribute to effort estimations for project timelines and resource needs.
• Participate in full lifecycle application development.
• Integrate security best practices throughout development, collaborating with security specialists when necessary.
• Writing of technical documentation, such as code documentation and system architecture.
• Participate in code version control, manage code changes and maintain a clear history of the codebase.
• Integrate software with existing infrastructure and systems.
• Engage in problem-solving and troubleshooting to identify and resolve technical issues.
• Deploy applications and provide ongoing support and maintenance.
• Stay up to date with industry trends and technologies to ensure the use of best practices and maintain relevance in the field.

• Minimum 2-3 years (preferably much more) of software engineering.
• You must have unrestricted rights to work in Australia.
