We're looking for a highly skilled Fitter, Fitter/Turner or Machinist to play a key role in our growing Dunsborough-based workshop. You'll be responsible for building and running our automated systems to manufacture innovative RT-Bolts and other products. In addition, you may be required to operate manual lathes, mills, CNC lathes.
What you'll do:
Maintain and troubleshoot automated manufacturing systems built in-house.
Ensure precision machining to strict tolerances on manual and automated machines.
Meticulously maintain and care for workshop equipment.
Preferably you should be able to Program and operate CNC lathes and automated loading systems for high-volume production.
You're a perfect fit if you have:
Trade qualification as a Machinist, Fitter or Fitter/Turner with 4+ years' experience.
Ability to fit complex mechanical components, including automated systems
Ability to progress from manual machining to complex CNC and automated system operations.
Experience with maintenance for precision machining
A "can-do" attitude and a passion for problem-solving and optimizing processes.
The ability to work independently and collaboratively with colleagues and engineers.
A strong work ethic, punctuality, reliability, and a focus on efficiency.
Bonus points for:
Experience with CNC lathes.
Experience in Oil & Gas or Mining industries.
Understanding of ISO 9001 compliance and quality control principles.
