The role:
We are actively seeking a dynamic and organized Senior Financial Manager to join our Sydney-based team on a full-time basis. The Senior Financial Manager will play a pivotal role within the company, closely overseeing our highly efficient Finance, Accounts & Administration team.


Key Responsibilities:

Financial Leadership: In this role, you will provide strategic financial leadership, actively contributing to the development and execution of financial plans and policies.
Budgeting and Forecasting: Lead the collaborative budgeting process, working closely with department heads to create accurate and comprehensive budgets, while conducting financial forecasting to identify potential risks and opportunities.
Financial Reporting: Precisely prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and present insightful reports to senior management with recommendations.
Cash Flow Management: Optimize cash flow to meet operational needs and strategic objectives, implementing effective cash flow forecasting and monitoring mechanisms.
Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with local and international financial regulations and standards, while identifying and mitigating financial risks through the implementation of robust internal controls.
Team Management: Lead and motivate the finance team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment, and providing guidance and support for professional development.

Qualifications and Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
Professional qualification (e.g., CPA, CMA) required.
10+ years of progressive experience in financial management.
Thorough knowledge of Australian accounting standards and tax regulations.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in financial software and advanced Excel skills.
Fluent in English and French
