We are currently seeking a motivated pair either friends or a couple who have a passion for the Hospitality industry. We are a luxury property located on the Cape Willoughby peninsula. Ideally we are looking for two hospitality professionals, one must have a love of cooking and who cares about great food presentation and hygiene.
This is a "hands on" position requiring people who are hard-working and happy to fill the role of hospitality all-rounders. The role is for two people due to the remote location and dual occupancy of our staff accommodation so unfortunately individuals need not apply. The positions will suit a Hospitality couple or two friends who don’t mind sharing accommodation - who love variety in their day, like personalised service and a fun team environment. It is necessary to execute a set menu created and supported by a consulting chef. He’s done the leg work, you do the plate up using your industry skills and ability to wow our guests.
You’ll be perfect for these roles if you have:
• Previous hospitality experience including food preparation and dining room experience
• Food Handling Certificate or willing to obtain one
• Capability to work well under pressure
• A National Police Clearance or be willing to obtain
• Documentation to prove working rights within Australia
• Good communication skills
• A team player with the ability to multi-task in a busy environment
• Possess a passion for food safety
• Valid Australian Driver’s License (preferred)
• Valid RSA (preferred)
• Flexibility to work, day and/or night shifts if required for your role
• Experience in Front of House and /or Front Office.
In addition to the above, it is highly desirable if you have:
• Remote work experience (highly regarded)
