Location: Armidale - Regional NSW

Salary: 82,000 + Superannuation

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior Security Consultant to join our team at Clinton Security Pty Ltd (T/A Clinton Security Services), renowned for providing security to Renewable Energy Sources in Regional NSW.
As part of your employment, in addition to performing day-to-day security consultant duties, you will be responsible for managing various aspects of security operations in Armidale and the surrounding regional areas on behalf of Clinton Security Pty Ltd, serving our clientele.
This is a high-profile, fast-paced role that requires a proactive and self-motivated leader. You will report directly to the Director of the firm and work closely with several Security Guards.
The primary location of work is in Armidale, NSW. We are looking for someone with 8+ years of experience in the industry who is willing to perform all security consultant duties and has the capability to perform some supervisory tasks. Having a Security Industry License from NSW is mandatory.
This is a full-time ongoing position with the potential for overtime. You will be entitled to all leave entitlements, allowances, and other benefits as per the Security Services Industry Award 2020.
Your duties will include:
Overseeing security systems and ensuring their proper functioning.
Conducting risk assessments and implementing security measures.
Conducted routine patrols for safety and security of the Site.
Developing and implementing security policies and procedures.
Leading a team of security professionals, providing guidance, training, and support to foster a culture of excellence and accountability.
Everyday Site operations including rosters, Support Guards, reporting and liaising with clients.
Investigates and handles disturbances and as needed, obtains assistance of law enforcement officers.
Performing investigations and preparing evidence for lodging complaints with the police or for legal proceedings.
Maintaining accurate records is a crucial aspect of duties. This includes logging information about visitors, vehicles, and deliveries.
Maintaining order at venues where there are large gatherings of people.
Access Control, checking doors, windows, unsecure premisses and securing them.
Continuously monitors assigned areas to prevent loitering, trespassing, theft, and vandalism. Involves a high degree of public contact.
Ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
Supervising the performance of manned guarding personnel deployed.
Providing security awareness and systems access training to all new employees.
Assisting with rostering short falls and managing the submission of accurate timesheets.
Attending and participating in regional security management conference calls and meetings.
Lead point of contact for all security matters whilst on shift.
What we're looking for:
Valid NSW Security Industry Licence, as a minimum class 1A
Current NSW Driving Licence
8+ years of experience in Security industry
Demonstrated staff management and positive interpersonal skills
Experience in Supervisory role in security industry
Willingness to work in remote and regional NSW
Relevant skills and experience in security industry
Awareness of Monitoring and development of work Health and Safety practices
Report to the Director of the Business
