Position Overview:
The Entry Level UCaaS Technician will be responsible for supporting and maintaining our UCaaS systems, with a particular focus on RingCentral and Microsoft Teams Calling. This role includes providing Level 1 IT support, troubleshooting issues, and assisting with the setup and configuration of communication technologies. The ideal candidate will be eager to obtain further certifications and advance their career in the UCaaS and IT support fields.

Key Responsibilities:
UCaaS Support:
Assist in the implementation, configuration, and maintenance of UCaaS solutions, including Ring Central Microsoft Teams Calling.
Provide technical support for UCaaS systems, addressing issues related to voice, video, and messaging services.
Monitor system performance and resolve any issues that arise to ensure continuous, high-quality service.
Collaborate with senior technicians and engineers to address complex issues and implement system improvements.

Level 1 IT Support:
Act as the initial point of contact for IT support requests, covering hardware, software, and network issues.
Troubleshoot and resolve basic IT problems, including issues with desktops, laptops, and peripheral devices.
Assist with user account management tasks such as password resets and access control.
Document and track support requests using the company’s ticketing system, ensuring timely resolution.
Escalate unresolved issues to higher-level support teams as necessary.

Requirements:
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s degree or relevant certification preferred.

Skills & Experience:
Basic understanding of UCaaS solutions and communication technologies, with a focus on Ring Central and Microsoft Teams Calling.
Previous experience or coursework in IT support or technical support roles is advantageous.
Familiarity with IT support tools, ticketing systems, and basic networking principles.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot technical issues effectively.
Excellent communication skills, capable of conveying technical information clearly to non-technical users.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Current drivers license
Living in Australia within easy access of Sydney CBD

Certifications:
Willingness to pursue additional certifications relevant to UCaaS and IT support in the future.
