On behalf of our client, we are looking for an experienced full-time Landscape Gardener.
The daily duties and responsibilities include:
• Plan, coordinate, and optimise residential, industrial, and commercial landscaping projects, ensuring efficient use of resources and timely task completion
• Plant and prune trees, engage in lawn care and plant health management
• Clear, level, and prepare sites by removing debris, unwanted trees, and existing vegetation to set foundation for new landscape and fencing installations
• Set out and install pathways, walls, plants, and lawns
• Selecting appropriate materials and plants, schedule landscaping activities to ensure project timelines are met
• Manage equipment, tools, and materials to support execution of landscaping tasks
• Spread soil, plant grass, lay turf, decorate with mulch and pebbles, and install irrigation systems to enhance functionality and aesthetics
• Ensure meticulous attention to detail in all landscaping tasks
Education – Certificate III or higher desirable. At least 3 years of experience may substitute.
Experience & Skills
• 2+ years of relevant experience in a similar roles
• Plant knowledge and technical skills
• Communication and problem solving skills
• Adapatability and patience skills
• Familiarity with landscaping design
• A love of the outdoors and plant life
• Extensive knowledge of regional plant life
• Knowledge of local pests and how to eliminate them
• Knowledge and understanding of soil tupes and fertilizers
• Knowledge of state health and safety regulations for landscaping
Salary - Salary being offered is commensurate with qualifications and experience and is $73,150 - $85,000 per annum plus superannuation
