Durks Café and Eatery (Durks Ampol PN Pty Ltd) is a cozy dining experience well known for its delicious quality food and excellent welcoming atmosphere. We are seeking a qualified and experienced Cafe Manager to lead our team on a full-time basis and help us deliver an outstanding dining experience.
Location: Pheasants Nest NSW 2574
Annual salary range: $70,000 to $90,000 (based on your experience)
Main Responsibilities:
• Managing and controlling daily operations of the cafe
• Liaising with business owner and chefs to create new menu items, recipes and dishes for the business.
• Deciding the pricing of new dishes for the café and for special events along with Chef
• Purchasing goods, stock control and managing the budget
• Analysing the weekly sales & inventory report to improve the business.
• Organising and managing special events and deciding the pricing.
• Monitoring quality of services delivered, and food quality served at all times through conferring customer’s satisfaction with meals.
• Recruiting, training, and developing F&B workers; monitoring performance; and, if needed, encouraging improvement.
• Promoting and encouraging a high level of customer service amongst staff
• Arranging reservations for the events and customers as and when required
• Managing customer complaints and providing resolutions.
• Developing marketing strategies to attract new customers
• Complying with food hygiene and WHS regulations.
• When necessary, address customers queries, concerns and feedback and assess whether they are satisfied with meals and service as well as customer feedback follow-up.
Qualifications & Experience
• Proven experience of 2 years in restaurant management
• Tertiary degree in hospitality. business or related field
• Previous restaurant/cafe management Australian experience is a must
