Job Description:
Salary: $73,500 plus superannuation
Qualifications & Experience:
5 years of experience required. Formal qualifications at level 3 appreciated but not essential.
Drivers licence
Task and Duties include (but not limited to)
• Set up ladders and use drop sheets to shield surrounding areas from paint splashes. (Qualified persons may occasionally be required to set up minor scaffolding.)
• Prepare surfaces by removing old paint and wallpaper, repairing woodwork, filling holes and cracks, and ensuring surfaces are smooth and sealed.
• Select and mix paints, pigments and oils to achieve the desired colours, including additives for thinning and drying.
• Apply paints, varnishes, and stains to various surfaces using brushes, rollers, and spray equipment.
• Hang wallpaper, ensuring proper pattern alignment and trimming edges as needed.
• Thoroughly clean tools and work areas.
• May include laying and repairing wall and floor tiles.
