Vestas are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Planning Manager to join our PMO team in Melbourne to work on projects across the APAC region. This is an excellent opportunity to embed yourself in critical projects across the APAC region and build upon your already storied career.



PMO APAC > Project Planning APAC > Planning AU



Our Project Management Office (PMO) APAC manages Cost Control, Planning/Scheduling, Documentation, Processes, Risk Management and Lessons Learned during Wind Farm Construction across the APAC region.

To be successful in this role your prior people management skills and experience will be essential.



Responsibilities

Review And Manage APAC region projects and performances.
Align Construction Methodologies and Planning Strategies in APAC.
Creation of Sales Schedules During Tender Phase and Reviewing Sub-Contractors Schedules
Maintaining the Master Construction EPC Schedules during Construction Phase
Update Project Schedules Monthly/Weekly
Support Contract Department on EOT's
Support Project Managers Reporting to Client
Create What-If Scenarios
Use internal reporting tools
Reporting to Senior Management
Manage / Report on the Critical Path
Meet Contractual Obligations


Qualifications

Minimum of 5 years' experience with Primavera P6
Trade or Tertiary Qualifications with 5 years minimum construction/renewables experience
PMI-SP


Competencies

People management experience is essential
Minimum of 5 years' experience with Primavera P6
Primavera P6 - Required
Microsoft Projects - Optional
Microsoft Suite - Required
Critical Path Method
Delay Analysis - essential
Earn Value Management (EVM) - Principles
S-Curve Reporting
