Our Local Government client is seeking a dynamic and experienced Social Planner to coordinate and lead strategic social planning initiatives that address identified community needs and issues. This role plays a pivotal part in shaping positive social outcomes for the Logan community through proactive engagement and planning.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate, facilitate, and prepare a range of strategic social planning initiatives in response to identified social and community needs.
Provide expert social planning advice to internal and external stakeholders to ensure positive community outcomes.
Contribute proactive and strategic input into Council's Planning Scheme and other land use planning strategies.
Monitor and implement Council's Community Infrastructure Strategy and support the Land for Community Facilities Network within the Local Government Infrastructure Plan.
Lead feasibility studies for new and existing community facilities within the infrastructure network.
