Key Accountabilities
Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to ensure efficient train operations, including out-of-course running and recovery plans.
Manage the day-to-day utilisation, performance, and competency of mainline train crews, ensuring they have the appropriate qualifications.
Develop a safety-focused culture, investigate incidents, implement corrective actions, and ensure compliance with reporting protocols and legislation.
Coordinate with the Train Operations Control Centre to maintain efficient train running and shunting requirements.
Manage rolling stock demands and requirements in collaboration with the Demand Planning Team.
