Salary: $73,500 - $75,000 plus 11.5% superannuation
Our client, St Leonards Star Bakery Pty Ltd operates a busy Bakery shop in St Leonards NSW, The client is looking to fill full time positions for qualified and skilled Bakers who are eager to develop and grow with a stable and successful company. The company take pride in their ability to deliver quality bakery products and more and a superior service every time.
The employer is looking for an experienced and motivated person who is qualified as a Baker and is capable of serving a high volume of customers.
Minimum Requirements:
AQF Certificate III including at least two years of on-the-job training, or AQF Certificate IV with at least 2 years’ experience in the similar role
In this role your main responsibilities include:
• Preparing all products following company recipes & yield guidelines according to set standards
• Ensuring procedures, policies and high standards are carefully adhered to at all times
• Checking the cleanliness of equipment and operation of premises
• Checking the quality of raw materials and weighing ingredients
• Kneading, maturing, cutting, moulding, mixing and shaping dough and pastry goods
• Processing dough into final products
• Stock, inventory and quality control
• Meeting daily production targets
• Monitoring oven temperatures and product appearance to determine baking times
• Coordinating the forming, loading, baking, unloading, de-panning and cooling of batches of bread, rolls and pastry products
• Glazing buns and pastries, and decorating cakes with cream and icing
• Operating machines which roll and mould dough
• Emptying, cleaning and greasing baking trays, tins and other cooking equipment
To be successful in this role you must:
• hold trade qualifications / industry experience
• be able to efficiently hand mould
• have experience with large production numbers
• be efficient and love a fast paced work environment
• have knowledge of food Handling and food safety
Also you must have work rights in Australia or be an Australian Citizen or Australian Permanent Resident.
