THE ROLE The primary purpose of the Yard Coordinator is to coordinate is to coordinate all yard operations at the Wharf.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Coordination of trucks
Monitor and document containers going on and off vessels at wharf
Loading and unloading of offshore containers, freight, special equipment etc.
Load restraint
Stuffing and de-stuffing of containers
Dogman for crane if required
Housekeeping of the yard area
Ensuring compliance of all yard procedures
Inspection and maintenance of containers, slings and lifting equipment
