Duties and Responsibilities of the Software Engineer:
• Participate in the design, implementation, review, and testing of software and programs.
• Develop, maintain, and update technical programs, end-user documentation, operational procedures, etc.
• Identify deficiencies and shortcomings in current applications and systems, and make necessary modifications.
• Provide advice and plans for software design activities, such as evaluating costs for new software purchases and upgrades.
• Identify client needs and evaluate application and system program requirements.
• Test, debug, and correct defects and errors in programming languages according to testing guidelines and standards.
• Program and code new systems using different programming languages (e.g., C, C++, Visual Basic, Java).
• Modify and update procedures and functions as required to ensure the effectiveness and efficiency of existing systems.
• Manage the testing and automation of software and application deployments.
Required Skills and Experience:
Qualifications: At least a Bachelor’s degree in a highly relevant field
Experience: At least three years of relevant working experience
Essential Skills:
• Proficient in at least one programming language (e.g., C, C++, Java, Visual Basic).
• Initiative and a proactive attitude.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Familiar with the software development life cycle and related methodologies.
• Familiar with testing, debugging, and bug correction best practices.
• Good documentation skills, including technical documentation and user manuals.
• Strong time management, teamwork, and communication skills.
