We are seeking a passionate Baker to join our team at Binakc Pty Ltd T/A Bakers Delight with a positive attitude to work in a team to provide excellent baking service.

This position will be reporting to our Production Manager – Baker and the job description includes but is not limited to:

· Ensuring quality of raw materials and appropriate weight of the ingredients;

· Kneading, mixing, dividing, cutting, moulding, and shaping the dough;

· Monitoring the right temperature of the oven and time per the type of product to be baked;

· Full coordination for the baking process of forming loading, baking, unloading and cooling all bakery items namely bread, rolls and pastry products.

· Icing, glazing buns and pastries and decorating pastry goods

· Knowledge of operating the roller, moulder, prover, cooler and dough divider;

· Operating bakery equipment while adhering to safety protocol;

· Verifying cleanliness, hygiene and proper operation of all equipment before commencing the production process;

· Should ensure compliance with industrial health and safety guidelines;

· Collaborating effectively with colleagues in the bakery while also excelling independently;

· Communicate effectively with the production manager for bakery needs and assist in ordering and maintaining adequate supplies for baking operations;

· Maintaining production procedures and ensuring all orders are done on time;

· You should take appropriate care of Total Quality Management, ensuring the quality of the product is to Baker’s Delight standard.


Apart from these efficient baker’s excellence, you should possess the following quality

· Formal qualification in baking (preferable).

· At least two years of experience in a similar position

· Be cool under pressure and love the pressure of busy service.

· Be able to help maximise profitability and control costs.

· Have proven baking experience. (at least three years)

· Be an excellent team player and should be able to deliver the best even under excessive working pressure.

· Take pride in producing high-quality products

Type – Full-time, Permanent

Salary – AUD 70,000 per year plus superannuation
