As they continue to grow, they're seeking a dynamic and experienced Production/Warehouse Manager to lead their warehouse operations and oversee a team of approximately 20 dedicated professionals.
Role Overview: As the Production/Warehouse Manager, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of their warehouse operations, ensuring efficient production workflows, and maintaining high standards of quality and safety. You will lead a team of around 20 employees, coordinate logistics, and drive continuous improvement initiatives to support their business goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee daily warehouse operations, including inventory management, order fulfillment, and shipping/receiving processes.
Lead, motivate, and develop a team of approximately 20 warehouse staff, ensuring high performance and adherence to company standards.
Implement and maintain efficient production workflows to meet operational targets and deadlines.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies to create a safe working environment.
Manage inventory levels and coordinate with procurement to ensure stock availability.
Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track warehouse performance and identify areas for improvement.
Collaborate with other departments to streamline processes and address any operational challenges.
Implement best practices for warehouse management and participate in strategic planning to support business growth.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in warehouse management, production management, or a similar role, preferably in the hydraulic or manufacturing industry.
Ideally from a trade background but relevant experience is preffered
Strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage and motivate a diverse team.
Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
Knowledge of inventory management systems and warehouse best practices.
Familiarity with safety regulations and compliance requirements.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively across departments.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and warehouse management software.
